Great 'n Small Child Development Center is looking for an Assistant Caregiver who has the ability to positively and creatively interact with young children.
This casual position may work between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Our staffing is based on child to adult ratios, so this individual must be able to arrive at Great 'n Small within 15 minutes of requested availability. Flexibility in scheduling is essential!
The Assistant Caregiver assists the teacher with classroom activities and provides educational interaction and basic care needs to a variety of age and developmental levels, ages 6 weeks through 12 years.
High school graduate or equivalent. Must have current first aid and CPR training (Will provide training if needed). Must have State Food Handler's Card if responsible for handling food. Experience working with children in a classroom or group setting and education in Child Development or Early Childhood Education are preferred. Candidates must have a passion for caring for young children and demonstrate a high level of patience and flexibility. Good communication and the ability to work harmoniously in a team setting are required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
