The Environmental Services Department at Water's Edge is in need of a dependable, self-motivated individual with a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
This Temporary Part-Time position may involve working a variety of day, evening, and weekend shifts. Flexibility in scheduling is essential!
The Environmental Services Representative is responsible for the cleaning of all assigned areas. The Representative must clean all areas thoroughly for the safety of our patients and guests. Duties include: dusting vacuuming; cleaning windows/mirrors; making beds; picking up linen/trash/recycle; other duties assigned.
Strong housekeeping skills and/or experience cleaning in a healthcare setting are required. Bi-lingual skills are desired. This person needs to have the ability to make independent decisions while maintaining productivity and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50-70 lbs. and push or pull a cart weighing up to 150 lbs. The ability to effectively communicate with other healthcare professionals and remain calm during times of high stress are a necessity for this position.
